Yellowsn0w is about to be released. Here are the final details of yellowsn0w. I will be posting up the download page with repos and instructions once yellowsn0w is out. Stay tuned.

- This unlock software works with the latest baseband only so jailbreak using QuickPWN or PwnageTool and upgrade to the latest version which is 02.28.
- This application is launched on boot whenever there is a baseband reset and it's small and unobtrusive.
- This application is a non-commercial application so it cannot be used by third-party companies or resold by anyone.
- Have a happy 2009!

your the best dev-team had a little issue first then added the line after /usr/bin/yellowsn0w as said on your blog and worked perfectly. if anyone has the same issue as i did with T-mobile just follow directions on the dev-teams blog for adding the string. hope that helps everyone with the same issue.

had some issue with no service showing at all just follow the directions in the dev-teams blog by adding the sting as written in there blog and it worked perfectly. Use Winscp to do the adding it makes it much easier then using cmd line. Thanks for all your hard work dev-team. Happy new years to all!!!

I used yellowsn0w to unlocked you 3G and it works. I got signal bar and T-mobile logo; however, when I was trying to call someone, then signal bar dropped and stop working.

i can't make a call

It appears to me, that a large majority of T-mobile users are having 'show stopper' problems (myself included)... to summarize the main problem, is the T-mobile logo appears after a reboot / sim removal / re-insertion... and then signal bars appear for a short time, before disappearing... cumulating in 'no service message'. Add to this no stability when making and or receiving calls on the T-Mobile network (im in the uk btw)

Im no programmer, but it sounds as though the kind people who created this adventurous crack may need to do some digging into T-Mobile....

Edit... A uk vodaphone sim I had laying around works perfectly (instant unlock)

Worked for me in Nicaragua using Movistar. But... needed to replace sim like for 3 times...

Hi everyone, after several time spent looking for a solution, i solved it.
For everyone that are having trouble, try to activate first with a autorized sim(ex. Vodafone), and only after the third party sim. It worked for me.

I am on 2.2.1 band 2.28 and 0.98 yellowsn0w. I am having trouble with Edge. It'll work sometimes and others it wont even pop up. I dont know if this is normal or if this is because I updated to 2.2.1 or what. Anyone have any ideas? Should I go back to 2.2 or use sim unlock or what?
